Burning of fossil fuels generates power that is needed to drive our vehicles, power our businesses, and lit our houses. These natural resources are produced from plant and animal relics that died millions of years ago. Carbon dioxide gas is produced by burning fossil fuels, which is harmful to the atmosphere and making the world warmer day by day. Also, today, when everyone understands the effect, still these sources of oil, coal, and gas are providing near 80% of our energy needs.
Let’s accumulate the results? Not just we but our generation will ultimately pay the price. From air and water pollution to global warming, fossil fuels for power generation have significantly affected mankind and the environment. About 4.2 million deaths are related to air pollution and toxicity per year, while a new Harvard report has found that COVID-19 cause more harm to people living in contaminated towns. Its time now to show concern about the risks of the use of fossil fuels, what they cost us, and why it’s time to move towards a world of renewable energy.
